Paradox Interactive has entered the stock market
The other day, the Swedish publisher and game developer Paradox Interactive entered the stock exchange. The total valuation of the company was $420 million (approximately $4 per share).
15% of the shares were available for purchase. As a result, they were acquired by more than 200 thousand shareholders. One of the largest was the Chinese Tencent. It acquired 5% of Paradox Interactive.
Recall that by now Tencent owns 100% of Riot Games, 21.5% of Glu Mobile, 48.4% of Epic Games, 12% of Activision Blizzard, 20% of Pocket Gems, as well as a larger stake in Miniclip. According to rumors, she is also interested in buying Supercell.
As for Paradox Interactive, 33% of its shares are in the hands of the company’s founder and CEO Fredrik Wester, and another 30% belongs to the Splitan investment fund.
