Supercell has invested in a studio of Google Stadia veterans that is developing an AI survival game

At the beginning of the year, two former Google Stadia engineers founded their studio—Glass Bead Games. They decided to develop games based on generative artificial intelligence technology and recently secured investments to support this endeavor.

The investment amount hasn't been disclosed, but it is known that the funding was provided by Supercell.

Glass Bead Games' debut project is codenamed Project Shanhai. Developers describe it as a "survival sandbox that, thanks to AI, will offer gamers unprecedented freedom of action." The game's events will unfold in Ancient China, and the protagonist will be a certain guardian, reborn in a mortal guise and battling mythical creatures.

Neither a tentative release date nor a list of platforms has been announced yet.
