Bitmagic, a platform specializing in generative AI, has secured $4 million in seed funding, spearheaded by Korea Investment Partners.
The company has also introduced its platform, allowing users to craft 3D games through text and voice prompts, via Steam Playtest.
Other contributors to the funding included Supercell, Sisu Game Ventures, and individual investors such as Zak Phelps, previously senior director of product for Fortnite Creative, and Maarten de Koning, partner at Digital Development Management.

"We are delighted to receive backing from prominent investors and industry veterans," remarked Bitmagic CEO and co-founder Jani Penttinen. "This funding will enhance our mission to democratize game development."
Michael K. Lee, executive director at KIP, commented: "Upon reviewing global rivals, we determined that Bitmagic is well ahead, with great potential to transform the landscape of game development and content creation."
Established in 2021, Bitmagic was founded by Jani Penttinen, COO Markus Kiukkonen, lead designer Juhana Wirtanen, and technology lead Markus Hjort. Samuli Syvähuoko, co-founder of Sisu Game Ventures, serves as chairman.
