Embracer Group: AI will help us speed up game development and make them better
Embracer Group will increasingly use artificial intelligence (AI) in game development. The company fears that if it rejects such technologies, it will be outpaced by competitors.

In the extended version of its report for the last financial year, Embracer Group announced that it has adopted a new policy regarding AI. The company stated that AI will allow it to "significantly enhance" game development. AI will enable more effective resource management and process optimization. Furthermore, the games will become more personalized, unique, and dynamic.
Embracer Group noted that it is aware of the drawbacks of AI. For instance, AI can generate unethical and simply incorrect work if it is not well-trained. There might also be copyright issues. Nevertheless, AI offers developers many advantages, so it cannot be ignored; however, its use must be approached consciously.
As Embracer Group emphasized, it does not intend to replace people with AI. The aim is to ease the workload of employees.
