In the extended version of its report for the last fiscal year, Embracer Group announced that it has adopted a new AI policy. The company stated that AI will allow it to "significantly improve" game development. AI will enable more efficient resource management and process optimization. Additionally, games will become more personalized, unique, and dynamic.
Embracer Group acknowledged the drawbacks of AI. For example, AI can generate unethical and incorrect content if not properly trained. There could also be copyright issues. Still, AI provides developers with numerous advantages, making it impossible to ignore, though it should be used responsibly.
Embracer Group emphasized that it does not intend to replace humans with AI. The aim is to make employees' work easier.
