Kojima Doesn't Believe AI can Replace Humans
Hideo Kojima is not afraid of artificial intelligence. At the premiere of a documentary dedicated to the game designer, he said that AI will not be able to “get the upper hand” over humanity.
Nevertheless, the head of Kojima Productions noted that he is not against the use of AI in creating games. According to Kojima, such technologies will speed up development and halve the team, but someone will still have to lead the process and give instructions to the AI.
If the AI stops obeying, Kojima will “gut” it.
