Kixeye spoke about the work of an in-game store run by AI
California-based mobile developer Kixeye explained how the machine learning platform operates, the capabilities of which the company uses in its games.
John Getze, marketing director of Kixeye, said that the intelligent platform manages the in—game store in the studio’s latest game, the mobile strategy War Commander: Rogue Assault. It analyzes the style of play of each player and offers him the most demanded items for his needs.
“We know what you have already bought and what units you are currently fighting with, so we can make individual offers for each gamer,” said Getz.
In his opinion, such a system benefits both the publisher and the players.
In March of this year, Kixeye attracted $20 million in investments to research artificial intelligence technologies. According to the company, thanks to AI, retention and monetization in War Commander: Rogue Assault have doubled.
