Nintendo will release a cardboard VR headset for Switch
Nintendo has introduced a new set of cardboard designer Labo. With it, the Switch turns into a VR headset.
Labo VR includes parts for five types of virtual reality helmet (classic helmet, cannon, camera, bird and elephant) and foot pedal. All of these items are called “toy-kons” by Nintendo.
The company will release a separate VR game for each toy-con. But it will be possible to play these titles without virtual reality.
Sales of the product will begin on April 12. The cost of a full set with all items is $80. A basic set is also available for $40. It includes parts for a classic headset and a helmet in the form of a cannon.
Recall that Nintendo introduced the first line of cardboard accessories for Switch in January last year.
