Oculus Unveils Wireless VR Headset for $200

Oculus has presented a new virtual reality headset Oculus Go. The device works without connecting to a smartphone or computer. The novelty was estimated at $ 199.

The Oculus Go show took place at the fourth annual Oculus Connect conference, held in the California city of San Jose on October 11.

Oculus Go will be fully compatible with the Gear VR system application library.

A custom version of the device will be available in early 2018, and developer kits will be available this November.

Oculus Go can claim to be one of the most affordable VR helmets on the market. It costs half the price of the Oculus Rift and three times less than the HTC Vive headset.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg said at Oculus Connect that he sets Oculus the task of connecting 1 billion people to virtual reality.
