Co-op horror game R.E.P.O. debuts strongly on Steam charts, outperforming most major AAA releases and evergreen hits

The global launch of Monster Hunter Wilds has resulted in a triumph on the Steam charts. Aside from Capcom’s latest hit, there were plenty of other notable additions and changes on the list over the past seven days.

R.E.P.O.

R.E.P.O., a goofy co-op horror game focused on physics-based interactions from Swedish indie studio Semiwork, debuted at #5 overall (#2 when only looking at premium titles). The fact that an $8 project managed to outperform major AAA releases in terms of weekly gross revenue makes the result even more impressive.

According to SteamDB, R.E.P.O. has already peaked at 61,791 concurrent players, and this is definitely not the limit. The game currently has an “Overwhelmingly Positive” (97%) rating on Steam based on more than 6,400 reviews.

Other titles in the top 10 include Marvel Rivals (#6, ↑1 spot), Kingdom Come: Deliverance II (#7, ↓3), Apex Legends (#8, ↑2), PGA Tour 2K25 (#9, ↑10), and EA Sports FC 25 (#10, ↑14).
