Kingdom Come: Deliverance II dethrones CS2 on Steam charts, Helldivers 2 and Destiny 2 return to top 10

Kingdom Come: Deliverance II unsurprisingly took over the Steam charts last week, dethroning Counter-Strike 2. Let’s take a closer look at the top-grossing products on the platform over the past seven days.

Thanks to the success of Kingdom Come: Deliverance II, the first game also returned to the charts at #60. Warhorse Studios previously reported that KCD2 sold 1 million copies in 24 hours, recouping its development of costs of around CZK 1 billion, or $41 million (via Seznam Zprávy).

The Bohemian RPG currently has a “Very Positive” rating on Steam, with 90% of the 22.7k user reviews being positive. It also peaked at over 256k concurrent players over the weekend, making it the 49th biggest Steam release of all time in terms of peak CCU.

Civilization VII, which launched in Advanced Access on February 5, continues to climb the charts. It placed 3rd overall (#2 when only looking at premium titles), moving up two positions from the previous week. Despite mixed reviews, Firaxis’ new strategy game has already peaked at over 66k CCU on Steam, with that number likely to increase over the weekend.

Monster Hunter Wilds saw another surge in pre-orders, climbing five positions to #4 overall. This is largely thanks to its second open beta, which peaked at 258.7k concurrent users over the weekend. Given the huge interest from players, the game is set to become another bestseller for Capcom.

Helldivers 2 jumped 35 positions to #8 overall. This is largely thanks to a 20% discount and the celebration of the title’s first anniversary on February 8.

Another live service game that returned to the top 10 last week was Destiny 2, which moved up 54 positions to #10 overall — thanks to the new Heresy episode.
