PUBG became the highest-grossing game on Steam for the week of November 5-12, moving up 11 positions. Such a surge in revenue was driven by the Black Market release, which introduced a special battle pass and many cosmetic items.

Krafton’s battle royale dethroned Call of Duty, which moved to 3rd place. Apex Legends climbed 54 positions to #4 overall thanks to the From the Rift update. The new season also led to an increase in player count, with the game peaking at over 225k concurrent users on Steam. That’s an improvement from the October peak, but still down from several previous seasons.

Thanks to a 20% discount, Baldur’s Gate 3 landed at #7 overall (#2 when only looking at premium games), up 38 positions from the previous week. The continued success of Larian’s RPG is truly impressive, especially considering it hasn’t received any paid content since its launch in August 2023.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard fell 11 positions to #14 overall (#7 among premium games). Interstingly, the player score for BioWare’s new action RPG continues to decline with each week. It currently has a “Mostly Positive” rating (72%) based on more than 19k reviews.

Below are the top 10 games by gross revenue for the week of November 5-12, excluding Steam Deck and free-to-play titles:

When it comes to new releases, Planet Coaster 2 had a solid launch week, jumping 50 positions to #9 overall (#3 among premium titles). Released on November 6, the sequel to Frontier Developments’ sucessful management sim peaked at just over 20k CCU, but recieved “Mixed” reviews from users.

Farming Simulator 25, which has just launched today, ranked 10th (4th among premium games) — up 27 places from the previous week.

S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2: Heart of Chornobyl soared 69 positions to #16 overall (#8 among premium titles) ahead of its November 20 launch.

Ther were also many older games that returned to the top 100 last week. The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth landed at #17 overall thanks to a 50% discount and a new beta session for the upcoming co-op mode. Its Afterbirth+ and Repentance expansions ranked 62nd and 87th, respectively.

Enshrouded, which has already surpassed 3 million players, took the #21 spot thanks to a new major update (it is also 20% off). It is followed by Metro Exodus (#24, -90%), Age of Empires 4 (#26, -35%), Crusader Kings III (#28, -70%), and Monster Hunter: World (#30, -67%).
