Bungie, the studio responsible for the style of Destiny, has joined PlayStation Studios

Within Bungie, there was a dedicated team responsible for defining the visual style of its games, preparing guides and benchmarks for working with graphics, and assisting production with lore. This team was called Bungie Creative Studios. It no longer exists. It has become part of PlayStation Studios.

This was announced yesterday by Bridget O’Neill, previously the director of this studio, and now the senior director of creativity at Sony Interactive Entertainment. Incidentally, before her work with Bungie, Bridget was the art director at Riot Games for nearly four years, where she worked on "Arcane."

In her LinkedIn post, Bridget noted that her creative team will now support all live service games under development by PlayStation Studios. However, she did not specify how exactly. This could involve visual curation of all IPs or simply the creation of creative assets.

The transition of Bungie Creative Studios into PlayStation Studios occurred as part of an integration with Sony Interactive Entertainment announced back in July. Recall that it was announced in the summer that 155 Bungie employees would transition into Sony's structures over several quarters.
