The Steam Deck is set to debut in Australia this November

In an exciting development for Australian gamers, Valve is set to release the Steam Deck in the region this November.

This announcement was made at Melbourne's PAX Australia, signaling the availability of the gaming handheld in the country almost three years post its debut launch.

According to a report by The Verge, the original model featuring an LCD screen and 256 GB storage will cost AU$649, approximately $437. Additionally, Valve is introducing the OLED model in two versions: the 512GB variant will be priced at AU$899 ($605), while the 1TB model will be AU$1,049 ($706).

Details on the specific release date within November remain undisclosed.
