On October 8, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO became available to owners of premium editions. According to SteamDB service data, its peak online player count on Steam soon exceeded 91,000 people.

This was enough for the game to earn the title of one of the most popular fighting games on the platform. Only the free-to-play MultiVersus managed to attract more simultaneous players, reaching 153.4 thousand. Among paid fighting games, DRAGON BALL: Sparking! ZERO is the undisputed leader.
