Farming Simulator 22 topped the Steam bestseller chart. The second place is still for Battlefield 2042
There were a lot of changes in the Steam bestseller chart last week. Farming Simulator 22 has become the new leader of the rating, shifting Battlefield 2042 from the first place. Cyberpunk 2077, Red Dead Redemption 2 and Horizon Zero Dawn also returned to the top ten best-selling games.
The release of Farming Simulator 22 took place on November 22. On the first day, the peak online project on Steam reached 105,636 people. This is more than Battlefield 2042 had at the start (the maximum number of simultaneous shooter players is 105,397 people). Now the peak of the online simulator of agricultural machinery has decreased. Over the past 24 hours, it has been a maximum of 94,744 people, and at the time of writing the news — 18,348 people.
Critics reacted well to Farming Simulator 22. On Metacritic, the game was rated 81 out of 100. But the opinions of the players were divided. Metacritic users gave the title only 4.7 points out of 10, stating that the new game is almost no different from its predecessor Farming Simulator 19. While Steam users were generally satisfied. In the Valve store, the simulator collected 85% of positive reviews.
As for other games, this time there is only one edition of Battlefield 2042 left on the Steam bestseller chart (there were three of them the previous week). It took the second place.
The third line went to Cyberpunk 2077. A 50% discount helped the game to get into the rating. Thanks to her, the title managed to get 76% positive reviews.
The sale had a good effect not only on Cyberpunk 2077. Discounts have returned to the chart two editions of Red Dead Redemption 2, which are located on the fourth and eighth places. Horizon Zero Dawn and FIFA 22 were also among the top ten best—selling games – they took seventh and ninth places, respectively.
Forza Horizon 5 has moved from fourth to sixth place in the Steam rating.
The last place in the chart was taken by the multiplayer sandbox Myth of Empires, developed by the Chinese indie studio Angela Game. The game was released on November 18.
