The Indian publisher Nazara has acquired a controlling stake in the esports company Nodwin Gaming

The Indian mobile publishing house Nazara Technologies continues to buy up local companies. The next acquisition of Nazara was the esports company Nodwin Gaming.

Under the terms of the deal, Nazara Technologies received a controlling stake in Nodwin. The amount of the contract was not disclosed.

Nodwin Gaming is creating an ecosystem for hosting esports tournaments in India both online and offline.

The company cooperates with organizations such as Valve, the ESL European Esports League and many others.

In February last year, Nazara invested about $20 million in the creation of the Indian esports league.

The previous acquisition for Nazara Technologies was a controlling stake in the mobile developer Nextwave Multimedia, specializing in sports titles and virtual reality games.

Prior to that, Nazara invested in MasterMind Sports, Moong Labs and HalaPlay.
