Valve allowed developers to send game keys to curators via Steam

The Curators Connect feature has been launched on Steam, which allows game developers to send game keys to participants of the curated program without leaving the platform.

The innovation is designed to combat fraudsters who, under the guise of curators, streamers or game journalists, lured the keys from the authors of games in order to resell them later.

In addition, curators can now insert videos into reviews, group their reviews by topic and customize the appearance of a personal page on Steam.

Curators will also see statistics showing how their recommendations affect the number of views of the game page in the store.

Valve announced innovations for Steam back in October and tested the system for a month and a half.
