G5 Entertainment earned over $104 million for the year 2024

The Swedish company G5 Entertainment also published its financial report. It concluded its 2024 results and announced that the fourth quarter was a turning point for the company.

G5 Entertainment's 2024 Full-Year Data:

  • G5 Entertainment's annual revenue was 1.1 billion Swedish kronor (104.5 million dollars). This is a 14% decrease compared to 2023;
  • the company's annual gross profit decreased by 13% to 776.1 million Swedish kronor (71.47 million dollars).

G5 Entertainment's Fourth Quarter Data:

  • For October to December 2024, the company’s revenue was 279.3 million Swedish kronor (25.7 million dollars). Although this is 12% lower than the previous year, it increased by 3% compared to July to September 2024. It’s worth noting that G5 Entertainment’s revenue showed quarterly growth for the first time since early 2021;
  • G5 Entertainment’s gross profit fell by 10% to 192.97 million Swedish kronor (17.77 million dollars);
  • 19% of the revenue was generated by the G5 Store. It is currently the third-largest revenue platform for G5 Entertainment;
  • The United States remains G5 Entertainment’s primary market. The U.S. accounted for 61% of the company’s quarterly revenue, followed by Europe (27%) and Asia (7%);
  • The mobile hidden object game Sherlock experienced a quarterly income increase for the first time in two years. However, how much Sherlock earned was not specified;
  • The game Twilight Land, which is in soft launch, also demonstrated good results. G5 Entertainment does not rule out that the game may go for a global release in 2025;
  • The average gross monthly revenue per paying user (MAGRPPU) in the company’s games increased by 4%, reaching 65.7 dollars;
  • Simultaneously, the game audience continued to decline. Monthly Active Users (MAU) decreased by 11% to 4.3 million, and Daily Active Users (DAU) fell by 12% to 1.3 million. The number of paying players dropped by 16% to 128.2 thousand;
  • Additionally, G5 Entertainment revealed that it planned to make a purchase in the fourth quarter, but the deal did not go through. The company did not share further details.
