Modern Times Group has finalized the $620 million purchase of Plarium, previously owned by Aristocrat Leisure Limited.

In November 2024, MTG and Plarium agreed to terms, specifying that $20 million would be postponed to 2026.

With the transaction now settled, MTG plans to integrate Plarium and fully assimilate it into its operations.

As reported by Pocket Gamer, the arrangement may lead to an "earn-out of $30 million" depending on Raid: Shadow Legends' 2025 revenue and "an additional $170 million contingent on Plarium's 2028 earnings."

MTG president and CEO Maria Redin stated, "This significant acquisition will drive us towards our aim of becoming a top European gaming group with one of the most robust collections of enduring mid-core intellectual properties globally."

Redin added, "Acquiring Plarium serves as a crucial impetus for our expansion. It offers a rare chance to enhance our strategy and implementation. The transaction unites some of the finest talents in our field, backed by the technology, resources, and expertise available across our organization."

Plarium CEO Schraga Mor commented, "We are excited to become part of MTG, a company that recognizes Plarium's established achievements in the mid-core and casual gaming markets. Our return to growth last year, along with record-breaking performance, underscores our leadership in the industry, thanks to our team's remarkable skills."

Mor continued, "Grounded in robust digital marketing and live operations, and with a history of building committed, loyal player communities, we are well-equipped to sustain this progress."
