Marina LopatinaGame designer at Matryoshka Games (Remote work)

Russian developer and publisher of mobile casual games Matryoshka Games is looking for a game designer. It will work with the Farming Fever game.

Responsibilities:

  • working with the team on updates from writing technical specifications to release;
  • description and elaboration of new mechanics, maintenance and updating of documentation;
  • control of deadlines, quality and process of work;
  • accurate management of routine project tasks.

Requirements:

  • great gaming experience in casual and midcore mobile games;
  • basic knowledge of game design;
  • developed communication skills: literacy, ability to give and receive feedback, evaluate deadlines, communicate requirements and vision to the team;
  • knowledge of the specifics and market of casual games, understanding the interests of the audience;
  • understanding the monetization of free-play games, advertising monetization, industry trends;
  • knowledge of English at the pre-Intermediate level (correspondence, writing documentation).

Farming FeverProducer at FunPlus (Moscow, Russia)

FunPlus is an independent developer and publisher, known primarily for games such as State of Survival, Kings of Avalon and Guns of Glory. His Moscow office needs a producer who will take care of a new casual project.

Responsibilities:

  • working on a new project. Testing hypotheses, mechanics, concepts, setting and stylistics;
  • producing and testing key game mechanics. Interaction with the production team and the UX department team;
  • formation of processes and tools for testing the effectiveness of hypotheses;
  • preparation and protection of a product development plan.

Requirements:

  • experience in creating new games or operating existing ones as a producer on the international market of mobile casual games;
  • excellent knowledge in system game design;
  • excellent analytical skills. Understanding the work of the game economy, monetization and player progress;
  • systematic thinking, the ability to correctly formulate and communicate your thoughts orally and in writing;
  • excellent knowledge of the market, game genres, trends, especially casual games;
  • experience in working with match-3 projects, data-driven game design, testing, marketing analytics and production in the R&D department is desirable. It is also good to have experience working on a project with a team of over 25 people.

State of SurvivalProject Manager at Last Level (Saint Petersburg, Russia)

Last Level company develops mobile games on the Unity platform. On her account, such titles as Modern Strike Online, World War Heroes and Infinity Ops. Now she is looking for a project manager.

Responsibilities:

  • organization and coordination of the game project development process;
  • interaction with development teams, art department, analysts and other departments involved in the work of projects;
  • release management (quality control and timing of releases, tracking of technical indicators of releases and the level of crash-rate)
  • holding meetings, supervising project reports;
  • distribution of areas of responsibility, control of deadlines and quality of tasks, prompt resolution of emerging technical issues.

Requirements:

  • experience in managing game projects for at least three years;
  • effective management of a team of more than 15 people;
  • ability to plan, excellent organizational and communication skills;
  • ability to prioritize and assess risks;
  • knowledge and understanding of basic metrics;
  • deep understanding of the mobile game production process;
  • multitasking, the ability to work with several projects at the same time.
