Marina LopatinaSenior game designer/Senior game designer at Deus Craft (Remote work)
Deus Craft is a Russian developer of games for PC and mobile platforms. Now the company, known for the games Cooking Craze and Grand Hotel Mania, is looking for a game designer to join its team.
Responsibilities:
- to help the producer and the leading game designer in the implementation of the project vision;
- prepare concepts, design, control, accept, analyze;
- write documentation;
- share your expertise and help other dgs to be pumped;
- to look for points of improvement of the project, to take the initiative;
- actively interact with the development team and related specialists;
- initiate discussions and make informed decisions for large mechanics;
- prototyping on paper and in designers.
Requirements:
- work experience of at least 3 years on fritupley projects;
- having your own pet projects, experience of participating in game jams;
- analytical skills and abilities to analyze game projects;
- communication skills (you will need to make public appearances in front of the team);
- fluency in game designer tools (google docs, wiki engines, mock-ups and UI prototypes);
- great gaming experience in casual games.
Grand Hotel ManiaUI/UX designer at WazzApps (Novosibirsk, Russia)
A small Novosibirsk studio WazzApps — it employs 30 people — is looking for a UI /UX specialist who will deal with both creating an interface in new games and refining it in already released studio projects (Human Evolution, TapTower, Idle Streamer).
Responsibilities:
- create User Flow, User Scenarios;
- prototyping and testing;
- create, maintain and develop UI Project Guidelines;
- monitor the quality of interface implementation by developers;
- test solutions on UX tests and experiments.
Requirements:
- UI/UX experience of at least 2 years;
- availability of a portfolio with examples of game interfaces (required);
- experience in game UX development, knowledge of basic standards and patterns;
- good graphic design skills (composition, typography);
- work experience in Figma;
- ability to work in a team, ability to defend their decisions, empathy;
- understanding the world of casual games and their features in general;
- the desire to develop in the gaming industry.
Idle StreamerArt Director at Gamix (Yekaterinburg, Russia)
Responsibilities:
- development and visualization of creative ideas, style and general graphic concept of game projects;
- maintenance of works on all art in games;
- working with the producer and other team members;
- generation of ideas and visual solutions in accordance with the technical requirements of the project;
- creating locations, interfaces, and characters for games.
Requirements:
- relevant work experience (lead, art producer or art director) in the gaming industry for at least a year or work experience as a 3D/2D artist for at least 3 years;
- the desire to develop;
- ability to work in 3D/2D, do animation, understand UI/UX;
- Professional knowledge: Adobe Photoshop, Maya, ZBrush, Illustrator;
- availability of a profile portfolio (game dev);
- the ability to creatively approach non-standard tasks;
- art education;
- interest in games, understanding of various game genres and characteristic techniques in visualization.
