The new mobile MMO from NCSOFT earns around $1 million daily
On May 19, NCSOFT released a new free—to-play game Trickster M – a reinterpretation of the 2003 MMORPG Trickster Online. The project is currently available only in South Korea, but already earns about $ 1 million every day.According to AppMagic, Trickster M’s revenue on mobile devices from the release amounted to $10.46 million.
Now her daily earnings are kept around $ 950 thousand. On May 22, 23 and 25, this figure exceeded $1 million.
At the same time, Trickster M was downloaded “only” 768 thousand times. Thanks to this, its ARPU (average revenue per user) is $13.31.
Trickster M is made in the 2D style of the original game and, unlike other NCSOFT MMORPGs, focuses more not on battles, but on exploring the world. At the same time, the project still has PvE and PvP modes. Also, one of the distinctive features of Trickster M is the influence of the environment on the game world, when a certain weather phenomenon can open access to a unique path and content.
Now the project is available on iOS, Android and PC (you can run it on a computer through a special Purple emulator). So far, NCSOFT has not reported anything about the global launch of Trickster M.
Previously, the South Korean company has already released mobile reinterpretations of its classic projects. The most successful among them are Lineage M and Lineage II M (she earned $152 million in the first three months).
