The pace for the title from this series is incredibly fast. The previous best-selling project Animal Crossing with the subtitle New Leaf reached a circulation of 12.6 million copies in six years.
Surpassed his Animal Crossing: New Horizons has not only become the main bestseller of the franchise. It also turned out to be the fastest—selling title for Switch – and a source of incessant hype. In social networks, they joke that the game is so popular that it caused the “disappearance” of North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.

Nevertheless, Pocket Camp is still the second in the list of the most profitable Nintendo projects on mobile. It is inferior to Fire Emblem Heroes, which earned $656 million by February 2020.
