Novosibirsk studio Friday's is looking for 13 screenwriters for a new project at once
Traditionally, the most popular jobs in game development are related to art and programming. It is more difficult for a person who does not know how to draw or understand code to find a job here. Especially when it comes to wanting to prove yourself as a screenwriter. However, Friday's is now looking for as many as 13 specialists who are ready to come up with plots, characters and direct game scenes.
We usually write about vacancies exclusively within the framework of our daily HR column, but here we could not ignore the reason. Such a large—scale recruitment within the framework of a humanitarian vacancy is a rare event.
Important: Friday's is looking for not just screenwriters, but people who will also be ready to engage in both game design and scripting. So her vacancies (they can be found here) are marked as positions for the place of a "game designer — screenwriter".
The company is looking for staff in its Novosibirsk office, remote work is not considered an option. But I am ready to teach people from scratch. The new staff will prepare the content for the new casual freeplay game.

Therefore, our team needs 13 game designers and screenwriters by the end of September. Their tasks are to come up with plots, write texts, direct and create scenes of character behavior. We consider candidates with and without experience in game development. What is important for us: the ability to write well (good is not only competent, but also with feeling, with sense, with alignment), the desire to develop in game development (not only to create texts, but also to play a lot, enjoy work and the project), as well as personal qualities such as positive and kindness. We have a very warm and strong team, and this atmosphere is more important to us than the candidate's experience, so we are ready to train future employees."
