Former Ubisoft developers raised $1.75 million for the debut project
And more about investments. The studio of Ubisoft natives, Breaking Walls, raised $ 1.75 million to develop the debut game. It will be an adventure game about animals Away: The Survival Series.
Part of the funds for the project has already been raised on Kickstarter. By July last year, backers had invested $96 thousand in Away. The studio was also able to receive funding from the Canadian Media Foundation.
Breaking Walls opened in Montreal in 2015. Two of its three co—founders — Laurent Bernier and Sebastian Nadeau – used to work at Ubisoft.
