ZeptoLab has transferred the development of the Om Nom brand to its new branch
Russian ZeptoLab has announced the creation of a new division — ZeptoLab Green. It will develop the Om Nom brand, which includes the popular Cut the Rope series of games.
According to the company, ZeptoLab Green is part of its publishing direction. All work on the Om Nom brand is concentrated inside the new business cell, including game development, cartoon series development, licensing and merchandising.
On November 28, ZeptoLab Green will release its first project on iOS and Android — Om Nom: Merge with merge mechanics. According to Pocket Gamer, the title was developed together with the British studio Amuzo. Pre-registration has already opened for him on Google Play.
Recall that the beginning of the development of Om Nom was laid by the mobile Cut the Rope, released in 2010. Now the franchise has more than five games with 1 billion total installations. The animated series Om Nom Stories also proved popular. He has 15 billion views on YouTube.
ZeptoLab itself, having shifted its largest brand to the shoulders of a new branch, engaged in the development of less high-profile projects. Among them are the multiplayer King of Thieves and C.A.T.S.
