Shooter, fighting game, mobile Teamfight Tactics: the authors of "League of Legends" expand their portfolio
League of Legends turned 10 years old. In honor of this, Riot Games unexpectedly introduced new projects. For the first time, the studio decided not only to expand the LoL franchise, but also to try a new IP.

Prior to that, the Riot Games portfolio was limited only to the League of Legends. Now Riot Games want to increase it. In one day they presented more titles than they released in 10 years. Their range covers PC, consoles and mobile.
What Riot Games announced
- Project A (working title) is a competitive first—person shooter for PC. He is the only one of the presented titles that is based on the new IP. The authors promise to give players a number of characters with different skills.
- Project L (also working title) is a fighting game based on League of Legends. Like Project A, the title is at an early stage of development. Details are promised next year.
- Legends of Runeterra is a card game based on League of Legends. Her PTA will take place in early 2020. They promise that the game will be cross-platform for PC and mobile users.
- League of Legends: Wild Rift is a mobile and console MOBA. According to Riot Games, the game cannot be called a port of the original LoL, as it was developed from scratch. Rumors that Riot is working on something similar appeared in the summer. The release of Wild Rift in the App Store and Google Play is scheduled for 2020. Registration for Android users is already available.
- Teamfight Tactics is an independent mobile autobattler based on the game mode from League of Legends. This mode is considered the most popular project in its genre, so such an announcement was to be expected. Earlier, Riot Games has already promised to turn Teamfight Tactics into an esports discipline.
