International Axlebolt Publishing specializes in mobile games with PvP battles in real time. To work on the first-person shooter Standof 2, they need a 3D character modeler.

Responsibilities:

  • creating High-poly, Low-poly character models;
  • creating UV scans, PBR texturing, baking textures;
  • optimization of models for a mobile device;
  • creating LODs;
  • preparing the model for animation (rigging, skinning).

Requirements:

  • confident mastery of Adobe Photoshop;
  • excellent knowledge and skills of working with popular 3D modeling packages (3D Max, Maya, Blender, ZBrush, MudBox);
  • knowledge of anatomy, shapes and proportions;
  • portfolio availability;
  • love of games.

Leading game designer for PvP fighting game (meta) at Banzai Games (Moscow)

The Moscow mobile game development studio, Banzai Games, is preparing another project. She needs an experienced leading game designer to create a deep and interesting meta.

Responsibilities:

  • thinking through and describing the basics of a meta-game;
  • creating character development and improvement systems;
  • balancing game events and mechanics;
  • collection and analysis of statistical information on game mechanics and events;
  • evaluation of the effectiveness of game mechanics and events in terms of project monetization;
  • interaction with the analytics department for project development;
  • identification of problem areas in the game.

Requirements:

  • work experience as a game designer of mobile games from 1 year;
  • required experience working on meta-mechanics;
  • availability of released projects;
  • understanding the principles of balance and monetization of free-to-play games;
  • understanding the work of key game mechanics and metrics;
  • ability to work with Google tables and formulas for them;
  • rich gaming experience on different platforms;
  • knowledge of the basics of probability theory and mathematical statistics.

Art vacancy of the week

Level Artist at Targem Games (Yekaterinburg)

Targem Games, based in the Urals, develops desktop and console games. One of her titles is Crossout. A new studio game needs a level artist with at least 1 year of experience.

Responsibilities:

  • development of game levels;
  • filling the location with various objects, etc.;
  • weather and lighting settings;
  • plantings of vegetation: trees, bushes, grass, etc.;
  • layout of various modules, setting tasks for sketching and modeling;
  • working with technical documentation.

Requirements:

  • work experience from 1 year;
  • experience and skills of working in game editors;
  • good command of 2D/3D programs;
  • texturing skills, baking cards.
