The developer of Subnautica admitted that he could not demand $300 thousand from G2A

In the story with G2A and the authors of Subnautica, the last one had to apologize. Unknown World admitted that it was in vain that she demanded $ 300 thousand from the store. Although I finally criticized his work anyway.

Natural Selection 2
Recall that three days ago, the Unknown World Entertainment studio accused the G2A store of reselling Natural Selection 2 keys. She accused it because the keys were bought in the studio’s own store with funds from stolen credit cards.

The developer decided that then the keys got to G2A. As it turned out, he was wrong.

All this time, G2A has denied any involvement in this story. He even stated that he was not engaged in the sale of game keys in 2013 (and it was then that the Natural Selection 2 keys were bought in the Unknown World store). In parallel, the Gamesindustry edition.biz suspected that this was a lie. After all, according to the web archives, the store traded keys nine years ago. But in G2A, the media source was called unreliable.

Apparently, the creator of Subnautica, Charlie Cleveland, was convinced of the latter. It was he who demanded tenfold compensation from the store. But yesterday he admitted that G2A still did not resell the ill-fated keys. In an interview with Kotaku , Cleveland stated:

Charlie Cleveland

Creator of Subnautica

About the claims of indie developers to this store App2Top.ru I wrote here and here. G2A has been dodging various charges for the second month. Stor promised to reimburse the developers tenfold if they prove that they suffered because of him. Unknown World did not succeed.
