1C Entertainment announced King's Bounty 2
Russian 1C Entertainment has announced the revival of the cult series of turn-based games. The company is developing King’s Bounty 2, whose release on “big” platforms is scheduled for next year.
There are very few details about the project yet. Apparently, this is an internal development, one of two previously unannounced projects of the Moscow company. It is unknown whether the people responsible for the relaunch of the series in 2008 are working on the game.
The game itself, judging by the debut video, has ideologically gone far from both the restart and the original game released New World Computing in 1990. Her visual style has moved away from the old cartoonishness to realism. Because of this, the game immediately resembles the picture Kingdom Come: Deliverance and “Legends of Eisenwald”.
In a good way, the production of the game surprises. Now King’s Bounty 2 without discounts is perceived as an AAA project. It is being developed on Unreal Engine 4.
The official website of the game has already been launched, where you can pre-order it. The cost of King’s Bounty 2 starts from 1999 rubles. However, there is also an edition for 3999 rubles.
