Art Director (mobile project) at PlayVictory (Moscow)

The young PlayVictory studio is looking for an experienced art director. The studio is based in the Moscow City complex and is engaged in casual service games.

Responsibilities:

  • definition of the art style of the project (from the type of icons to GUI and FX) and the ability to achieve the appropriate implementation from the team;
  • constant study of other games for interesting visual solutions;
  • willingness to search for an art style together with the project team, prepare art for marketing tests and the like;
  • working with outsourcers

Requirements:

  • work experience as a leading artist or art director of a game project for at least a year;
  • active gaming experience;
  • willingness to draw yourself, not just to lead;
  • ability to work in a team;
  • the presence of a portfolio.

PlayVictory office in MoscowDesign vacancy of the week:

Expert on level design in Game Insight (Moscow)

The Moscow office of the publisher and developer of mobile games Game Insight is looking for a level design expert for games in the match-3 genre.

Responsibilities:

  • development of new elements of game levels, as well as mechanics for various projects;
  • quality control of game level design;
  • analysis of game level indicators;
  • maintaining documentation on the design of game levels.

Requirements:

  • experience working on projects in the genre of match-3 and related (Mind Fitness);
  • understanding the principles of game balance adjustment and game content consumption rate;
  • in-depth knowledge in level design;
  • experience in team management, mentoring;
  • passion for creating casual games.

An additional advantage will be:

  • knowledge of current trends in the genres of the Mind Fitness category on the market, extensive gaming experience in these genres;
  • ability to perceive and analyze large amounts of data;
  • ability to focus on goals, stress resistance;

Build Engineer/DevOps in Stark Games (Minsk)

Stark Games is known for the casual game “Herringbone”. Now the company is looking for a DevOps specialist.

Responsibilities:

  • development, support and documentation of CI/CD processes and related infrastructure based on Jenkins;
  • improvement of software development and testing processes (in the form of dev environment development, infrastructure and implementation of new tools);
  • configuring monitoring of dev and production environments;
  • participation in the development and support of the architecture of applications, services, and infrastructure of the production environment.

Requirements:

  • Unix/Linux (Debian) work and administration experience;
  • understanding and experience with virtualization systems;
  • understanding and experience with containerization systems (Docker);
  • experience in setting up CI/CD processes;
  • experience with Jenkins;
  • good knowledge of version control systems (GIT);
  • knowledge of Groovy.

An additional advantage will be:

  • experience with rancher/Kubernetes;
  • experience with modern monitoring systems (Zabbix, Graphite / Grafana);
  • experience with cloud platforms;
  • experience with Bitbucket, GitHub, Atlassian products;
  • Python programming skills;
  • knowledge of the principles of building a microservice architecture.
