Contest: ask the head of Ubisoft Berlin a question and win a ticket to White Nights

As part of the White Nights winter session, a public interview with Istvan Tajnay will take place. Istvan heads Ubisoft Berlin, which is working on the Far Cry series. We suggest asking him questions. The authors of the top two will receive a premium ticket to the conference.

About the speaker and his studio

Istvan has been in the gaming industry for more than 15 years. He started in 2003 as a localization tester at Sony. Then he quickly moved up the career ladder. He has worked at 2K Games, Disney Interactive Studios and Sega. Since 2012, his career has been connected with Ubisoft, where he rose from the position of a producer of game services to the position of head of one of the studios.

Led by him, Ubisoft Berlin was launched in mid-2017. It is one of three German Ubisoft studios. The French giant in Germany also has teams in Dusseldorf and Mainz. Unlike the latter, the Berlin team is not working on strategies, but is engaged in the development of Far Cry.

Despite the youth of the division, Ubisoft Berlin has already been in the media spotlight. In July of this year, the studio received a grant of $1.8 million from the Berlin government. The money was planned to be spent on increasing the team to 150 people.

About the format

A public interview or Fireside chat is an interview on the conference stage, where both the host and the audience ask questions to the guest.

The conference organizer and Nevosoft Business Development Director Yulia Lebedeva will act as the moderator. In her conversation, she will take into account, among other things, the questions that are asked under this publication.
