Players began to spend three times more money on PUBG Mobile
Season tickets have straightened the position of the mobile version of PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds. After their introduction, gamers spend three times more in the game than before, Sensor Tower reported.
Recall that the sale of royal passes (season tickets), began in PUBG Mobile on June 19. Passes give players access to tasks and unique seasonal rewards. The transition to this form of monetization is due to the fact that it successfully operated with a competitor of the game – Fortnite Mobile. In the first week after the introduction of passes, PUBG Mobile’s revenue grew by 365%.
The effect of the introduction of passes turned out to be long-term. For more than a month, the game has been earning an average of $650 thousand daily. Before the passes, revenue was at the level of $220 thousand per day.
Also Sensor Tower notes that now PUBG Mobile’s daily revenue does not fall below $ 450 thousand, and before it did not rise above $ 343 thousand.
