Roblox intend to pay game creators $ 70 million in 2018
The owners of the social MMO sandbox Roblox in 2018 plan to pay about $ 70 million to the authors of mini-games for their service. This is more than twice the amount earned by the creators of Roblox games in 2017.
The company increases the payout budget in proportion to the growth of the authors of unique content for Roblox. To date, the creative community of the platform has doubled in comparison with last year and exceeded 4 million people.
Roblox is an online social game that allows users to create locations and mini—games in an interactive three-dimensional environment. Players can distribute ready-made projects through the marketplace built into Roblox. The game is available on PC, consoles and mobile devices.
Roblox is primarily aimed at young gamers. Currently, the audience of the platform exceeds 64 million people. In 2017, Roblox users created over 11 million games and levels.
