The creators of the mobile clone PUBG hired the screenwriter of the movie "Battle Royale"

The author of the script of the Japanese film “The Battle Royale” Kenta Fukasaku (Kenta Fukasaku) became a consultant to the Chinese mobile developer and publisher NetEase. Fukasaku helps the company develop the mobile online action movie Knives Out.

Fukasaku is currently working on the plot of the Final Battle of Tokyo expansion for Knives Out.

Knives Out and Rules of Survival are NetEase mobile titles that visually and gameplay are very similar to the popular online action movie PLAYERUNKNOWN BATTLEGROUNDS.

“Battle Royale” — the history of the name

The film “Battle Royale” was released in 2000. The picture is based on the novel of the same name by the writer Koushun Takami (Koushun Takami). Both works tell about a group of high school students who were forced to fight each other on a desert island until the last survivor.

The concept of the deadly game from the “Battle Royale” formed the basis of the multiplayer action subgenre, which was also named after the film.
