The publishing daughter of Wargaming has taken up cooperation with a Serbian developer of casual premium games
Wargaming Alliance has announced the start of work with Mad Head Games, a Serbian studio that specializes in hidden object games. Judging by the first published art, the companies are working together on a new MOBA.
But published today, April 19, there is no specific information about the new project. It is only reported that the Wargaming Alliance will be the publisher of the new Mad Head Games game.
The studio itself, according to Nenad Tomich, the general director of the studio, decided to “return to the roots — to those games with which we started our journey.” What he meant by this is not specified. Mad Head Games has been exclusively engaged in casual games since its foundation in 2011.
Perhaps it was about the experience at Eipix Entertainment, the company where all the current Mad Head management worked. But since 2011, she has also been working only on games for casual audiences. Prior to that, she released the Ziro puzzle and the futuristic Pyroblazer simulator.
Our assumption that we are talking about a project in the MOBA genre is based on the picture to the announcement of cooperation on the official website of the Serbian company. In the image you can see a classic arena for the genre.
As part of the joint work, the Wargaming Alliance will be responsible for “key publishing services, including user support, marketing and community work, as well as ensuring the presence of the game in all target markets.”
Wargaming representatives also noted that “in 2017, Mad Head Games beat 100 other developers who applied to the Wargaming Alliance and received an offer of cooperation.”
Recall that within the framework of this division, the “tank” company is looking for fritupley MMO projects. In addition to Mad Head, the Wargaming Alliance initiative is currently working with Creative Assembly on Total War Arena and with 1C Company on the Caliber shooter.
