Which games have suffered due to IP address blocking?

The massive blocking by Roskomnadzor of 2 million IP addresses belonging to Amazon and Google affected many gaming projects. Both domestic and Western developments were under attack.

Wargaming Alliance and Creative Assembly reported that Total War: ARENA players have problems with the project. In a separate press release sent to the media, a representative of the companies links the problems with IP blocking.

Game Insight studio last night in the Guns of Boom group informed players that they may have problems logging into the game.

With a similar appeal to the user today, the company “Kefir!” addressed. The developers urge not to be shy and use alternative methods of connection.

Russian representatives of the cash mobile hit Lords Mobile also noted that there are no problems with the servers on their part, but Russian users cannot log in to the game.

In the official VK group and their Russian-language Twitter feed, the Vainglory developers stated that the problems in the work of the project in Russia are related to the actions of Roskomnadzor and advised those who cannot log in to the game to use a VPN application for games.

The inability to enter the game was also faced by many players in the popular mobile battle royale Knives Out.

A similar problem is observed among those who play Splatoon 2, a network shooter for the Nintendo Switch, – the super nintendo Telegram channel reports.

Also today it became known that in Russia, the HockeyApp game testing service has stopped working for some developers. The art director of ESforce Holding, Sergey Lyange, said that his company “has an important tool stuck, according to which we counted our statistics on units.”

This is most likely not a complete list. Yesterday, in a publication about the first teams that came under attack due to the actions of Roskomnadzor, we wrote about Nekki, Lotos gaming, RBK Games.
