The PUBG mobile clone from NetEase was downloaded 100 million times in 42 days

The fever of “royal battles” has spread to mobile. The Knives Out mobile PVP action game from the Chinese company NetEase scored over 100 million downloads during the open beta test, which began on November 3 and ended with the global release of the game on December 14.

Knives Out is one of several mobile “battle royales” based on the hit Playerunknown’s Battlegrounds released by NetEase in recent months.

Another company title, Rules of Survival, recently reported 15 million downloads since its launch on November 14.

The creators attracted popular video bloggers to promote the game, and also announced a world tournament with a prize pool of $ 650 thousand.

At the same time, the third PUBG copycat game from NetEase called Survivor Royale failed everywhere except Thailand and Brunei.
