The Finnish developer raised $1.4 million for the debut title
Bon Games game studio from Finland raised $1.4 million at the seed stage of investment for the development and publication of its first game — a mobile simulator of the transport company Transit King.
Investments were provided by Finnish investment holdings Polkuni and Nurmiranta.
Ilkka Immonen, CEO of Bon Games, said: “We want to become the world’s best studio for developing economic simulators. There are many fans of this genre who lack opportunities in modern mobile games, so we draw ideas from classic titles such as Railroad Tycoon and Transport Tycoon.”
Transit King launched in softlonch in July and received positive reviews on Google Play. At the same time, according to Sensor Tower, by October the game had been downloaded less than 5 thousand times.
The official release of Transit King is scheduled for November 17.
