The most popular search query in the USA on iOS in September was the word Destiny, and in Russia – Rider. What other mobile search queries related to games were popular in the territories of the USA and Russia – read in our joint material with AdvertMobile.
Top of the most popular gaming queries in the USA
The charts of search queries in the States were completely updated in September. There were no requests leading to games that were aimed at the widest possible range of users (word games, music games), as well as a children’s audience.
The most popular query in the USA was the word Destiny. This is due to the console release of the Destiny 2 project on the sixth of September. In the first place in the output for this request was the Destiny 2 Companion application from Bungie. It allows you to check your status in a console game.
Another request whose popularity is associated with a major game release on a non–mobile platform is FIFA 18. The project of the same name was released on consoles and PC on September 29. According to his search query, first of all, EA SPORTS FIFA 18 Companion fell out. The application allows game owners to set up and manage a football team in their account.
Also in the charts, requests leading to games developed in Russia were in high positions: Pixel Gun and Homescapes.
Top of the most popular gaming queries in Russia
The Russian charts have also changed significantly. Gambling-related queries have disappeared from the tops.
Also, the query “Bearded Man” disappeared from the top on the iPhone. This summer, three games were released under this name. The game releases took place in parallel with the TV show of the same series.
Unlike the American top iPad, there are still requests in the Russian one aimed at a children’s audience. In particular, “Games for children” and “Games for girls”.
The most popular request in September for iOS in Russia turned out to be Rider. The top application for this request is the game of the same name. Also, judging by the popularity of the request, Guns of Boom, Game Insight actively promoted it last month.
