Supersolid raised $4 million to develop the social game Home Street
The British studio Supersolid has received $4 million in investments to develop new features for the social mobile game Home Street and promote the project.
The finance was provided by the venture capital company Index Ventures, which previously invested in such mobile studios as King and Supercell.
Supersolid CEO Ed Chin said that the funds received will be invested in new channels for promotion.
In addition, Home Street will get more features and content thanks to contracts with various brands and celebrities.
One of the first partners of the game will be a certain famous artist, winner of the Grammy Award. His identity was promised to be revealed in the near future.
Home Streets is released on iOS and Android platforms on October 12. Previously, the game was launched in a softlonch in the Philippines.
The previous title Supersolid restaurant simulator Food Street was released in 2015. According to the analytical company Sensor Tower, last month the title scored 80 thousand downloads and earned $ 100 thousand.
