Microtransactions and virtual “silver” may appear in Destiny 2

In the upcoming MMO shooter Destiny 2, microtransactions and “silver” (Silver) – a virtual currency from the first part of the game, purchased for real money, may appear.

This version has not yet been officially confirmed and is based on a Destiny 2 promo poster from the GameStop store, the largest gaming retailer in the United States.

On the poster, among the options and bonuses for pre—ordering the game, sets of “silver” of various denominations are indicated – 1000 and 2000 units for $ 10 and $ 20, respectively. One of the users of the social platform Reddit drew attention to this.

In the original Destiny, “silver” was used to buy cosmetic upgrades, such as emotions.

Destiny 2 will be released on consoles on September 6, the PC release will take place on October 24.
