PUBG surpassed GTA V in the simultaneous number of players
MMO survival simulator PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds has overtaken GTA V in terms of the number of gamers who are simultaneously in the game on Steam.
The record activity of players in PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was recorded on July 15, when 382,779 people were present in the game at once.
The peak attendance of GTA V was marked in April 2015 after the launch of the title on PC with an indicator of 360,762 players.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds moved the hit Rockstar Games studio to 5th place in the ranking of the most visited games on Steam. It is ahead of Dota 2, Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Fallout 4.
PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds was released in March of this year and has become one of the most popular and commercially successful titles of recent years.
