Arena of Valor will publish DeNA in Japan
Tencent decided not to launch Arena of Valor (aka Honor of Kings) in Japan on its own. The Chinese giant has announced a partnership with a local mobile veteran — DeNA. The latter will publish a mob in the Land of the Rising Sun.
The move looks logical, given that Arena of Valor failed in the American market, where Tencent published it itself. The company does not want a repeat of the situation in the Japanese gaming market, whose turnover by the end of 2018 may amount to $ 19.2 billion.
