Apptica: USA is the absolute leader in the mobile game advertising market for iOS and Android
With the growth of the mobile industry, the market for advertising gaming applications is also growing. Apptica experts named the countries with the largest number of publishers who advertise their mobile games.
The company has calculated the number of advertising mobile publishers for the first quarter of 2019. The calculation was carried out in 35 countries, and only the presence of the publisher’s headquarters in the country was taken into account. One publisher could be counted several times if he advertised more than one game.
In total, Apptica registered 8,190 advertising publishers of games for the App Store and Google Play in January — March. In quarterly terms, their number increased by 1.2%.
As shown in the diagram below, the USA significantly surpasses other countries in the number of advertising publishers. Following America are Hong Kong, France, South Korea and the United Kingdom. These five together account for 56% of the total number of publishers.

The largest number of advertised titles in the genres of “casino” and “sports” falls on the USA. But casual games are most actively advertised by French publishers (though only on Android), and strategies are Hong Kong (on Android and iOS).
