One of the Russian officials proposed to ban games in which you can play for the Germans

There are more and more initiatives related to video games in Russia every day. We also got to the discussion of in-game content.

In particular, director Nikolai Burlyaev, who holds the post of first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee for the Development of civil society and religious associations, proposed to ban those games in which you can play for the Third Reich and lead it to victory over the Soviet Union.

So far, this is nothing more than a statement. Work on a draft law that would regulate the distribution of video games on the territory of the Russian Federation that allow you to play for opponents of the Red Army and the USSR has not been reported.

Recall that Russian gaming teams have always been strong in the development of historical games about World War II (the series "Confrontation", "Blitzkrieg", "Il-2: Stormtrooper", Silent Storm and many others). In them, as a rule, it was possible to play for any side of the conflict.
