Quality assurance company TestFly has acquired the Brazilian testing firm Red Cerberus
TestFly, which describes itself as a "leading provider of strategic and innovative quality assurance testing solutions" in the gaming sector, has purchased the Brazilian testing company Red Cerberus from tinyBuild.
The specifics of the acquisition remain undisclosed by TestFly, though some sources suggest it amounted to $1.5 million in cash. This union is expected to greatly enhance TestFly's offerings by adding Red Cerberus' skilled team of about 180 professionals and cutting-edge testing facilities.
The merger will allow for improved automation tools and round-the-clock testing services, employing a follow-the-sun strategy, and boosting support for console, PC, and mobile platforms, according to company statements.
Red Cerberus has begun the integration process into TestFly, assuring that it will not disrupt services for current clients and staff.
Kevin Chelius, CEO of TestFly, stated, "We’re thrilled to welcome Red Cerberus to the TestFly family. Their expertise, reputation, and deep industry knowledge perfectly align with our mission to set new standards in game testing."
Chelius further remarked that the acquisition underscores their dedication to assisting developers and publishers in delivering dependable, high-quality gaming experiences worldwide, while enhancing their foothold in Latin America.
Alex Nichiporchik, CEO of tinyBuild, commented on the sale, noting it as a pivotal step in refining their focus on developing and expanding their original intellectual properties. He expressed gratitude by saying, "Red Cerberus has been a valuable partner in our journey, and I'd like to thank the entire team for their dedication."
