Agora Gaming Partners, an advisory firm, has successfully raised $600,000 in its initial funding round

The newly established advisory company Agora Gaming Partners secured $600,000 in initial funding.

AGP was co-founded by Pontus Mahler, who previously served as VP at Global Top Round, alongside Jacques Benchetrit, former head of M&A and fundraising at the same firm. The company aims to support gaming startups and developers through publishing, equity deals, and fundraising services.

The firm will commence operations with six clients, with funding coming from various angel investors who have a background in gaming.

In their publishing arm, the focus will be on securing PC and console deals, acting as agents and lead negotiators for indie to AA games with budgets reaching $50 million. They will also handle negotiations for IP licensing.

AGP plans to assist businesses with valuations up to $100 million in finding stable partnerships, in addition to aiding startups and developers with fundraising efforts.

"We are thrilled to introduce Agora Gaming Partners to collaborate with top-tier entrepreneurs in the gaming sector," Mahler commented. "Jacques and I, along with our team, bring the essential expertise our clients need to thrive in this competitive market."

Benchetrit remarked: "We've fostered numerous valuable relationships in the gaming field. Through AGP, we aim to offer our expertise, connections, and support to help our friends achieve their goals."
