GiantX has completed the acquisition of the AI start-up iTero Gaming in a deal valued at several million dollars

GiantX, known for its presence in gaming and esports, has acquired AI-driven esports coaching firm iTero Gaming.

Although the exact financial details were not disclosed, it was revealed that the deal was valued in the "multi-million [dollar]" range.

Subsequent to the acquisition, Jack J Williams, who established iTero Gaming in 2022, has taken on the role of head of gaming technology at GiantX.

GiantX aims to leverage iTero's technology to offer enhanced training, insights, and personalized coaching to its players.

Initially, the collaboration will concentrate on League of Legends, a game for which iTero's coaching application has been downloaded nearly 250,000 times over the past two years.

"This acquisition signifies a major step in GiantX's dedication to innovation and excellence in esports, enabling players globally to perform at their competitive peak," commented GiantX co-CEO Tim Reichert.

"We are thrilled to utilize this cutting-edge technology to optimize our team's practice sessions, aiming to maximize the potential of our professional players and the worldwide gaming community."

GiantX was established in December 2023 through a merger between Excel Esports and Giants Esports.
